POLICY
- Our on site work week is Monday through Thursday, and our work day is 6-7 hours long. Because of the physically demanding work, we limit the amount of time we paint at once to ensure that we create a beautiful finish for you.
- We create samples and work on accessories during our normal work schedule, Monday –Friday, in our studio. Lighting, eyestrain, and fatigue affect the creative process and we want to ensure we create the best finish for you. In order to maintain quality, samples are not made on site. Last minute changes and requests will be fulfilled, but will affect the work schedule.
- Assistants and Prep Staff come to prepare the worksite for the decorative painting. Special base coats and prep is required for your decorative finish. The best suited assistant will be assigned that task. I execute the artistic work, and oversee the quality of all work.
- We will use our professional judgment to determine if it is prudent to proceed with the painting. Temperature and humidity and other environmental conditions (dust, pet hair) affect the quality of your finish. A/C will be requested during warm weather, and in the winter we may ask that the heat be turned down to help create optimal working conditions for a high quality finish.

We have the expertise! Yeh for Art!, with myself as primary artist and faux finisher, is comprised of a select group of skilled artists, faux finishers, painters, and support assistants. Your project will be completed by the best matched artisan for your project. Under my supervision, we will deliver the highest quality of work, attention to detail and service; the foundations on which I have built my reputation and business.
Your finish will be unique! We want to create a finish that is perfect for you, not just re-create the one we know best. All finishes are customized, you aren't limited to what's in our portfolio.
It will be clear, with no surprises. We will give you a thorough and detailed proposal outlining all the work we will do. All changes will be approved in a written “change order”.
We have high professional standards. We follow the guidelines set forth by the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) for interior painting.
We use only the best quality products for your investment in your home. Our materials are are manufactured specifically for professional faux finishers. They are water-based, friendly to the environment, low odor and low VOC.
We provide total care from beginning to end, and after.
We promise to use the utmost care while working in your home. We tape off areas and use plastic covers, and canvas drop cloths to protect your home and furnishings. We will clean up after working, vacuuming and sweeping as needed. Although we do need to use some water and do minor clean up, we wash our brushes, rollers, and paint buckets in our studio, not your sink!
You receive an aftercare packet with base paint, glazes and instructions for patching small nail holes, but for small touch up, you can just call me.
Our work is guaranteed for one year. And we will be here next year, as we have been since 1997.

Yeh for Art! has been in business since 1997, I have over 15 years of decorative painting experience and a BFA in Painting from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. In addition, I have complete intensive professional courses in faux finishing each year to stay on the edge of current design and new products.
